The Buddha travels to Rājagaha with his newly converted thousand-monk entourage. King Bimbisāra of Magadha arrives with a vast multitude to meet him. To clarify who is the master, Kassapa publicly bows to the Buddha. After the Buddha teaches, King Bimbisāra attains the Dhamma, fulfills his lifelong aspirations, and generously donates the serene Bamboo Wood pleasure park, establishing the very first monastic residential property for the Sangha.
