Terrestrial devas often gathered invisibly to hear Ajahn Mun teach, circumambulating him three times and requesting specific Dhamma topics. He conversed with them in the language of the heart. At Ban Thum village, where smallpox was killing many daily, Ajahn Mun had the villagers take refuge in the Triple Gem, and the deaths ceased immediately. He radiated loving kindness three times daily, his pure mind’s aura brightening the world.
