22 Powerful Magic
high-definition creative commons posters depicting Powerful Magic from The Life of Ajahn Mun together with further information.
Hill tribesmen asked Ajahn Mun for a magic formula against ghosts. He gave them Buddho, Dhammo, Saṅgho as a meditation subject, telling them ghosts fear only the Triple Gem. Practicing sincerely, they attained concentration and even mind-reading, astonishing the monks. They told Ajahn Mun his mind was free of conventional reality, “Nibbāna in a human body,” and the villagers lost interest in ghosts, offering alms daily.
