36 Dhamma Therapy

high-definition creative commons posters depicting Dhamma Therapy from The Life of Ajahn Mun together with further information.

At malaria-ridden Ban Nong Pheu, Ajahn Mun taught monks to use Dhamma—mindful investigation of pain—rather than medicine. Weak, complaining monks were rebuked; those facing pain with warrior spirit were praised. He taught that pain, body, and mind are separate truths. Two monks died there; Ajahn Mun foresaw their rebirths and warned against disappointment disturbing a dying monk’s mind.
