high-definition creative commons posters depicting Jaṭila, the Treasurer based on the Great Chronicles of the Buddhastogether with further information.

After making gold flower offerings to atone for a past insult to the Buddha, Jaṭila was reborn with tremendous merit. Abandoned as a baby in a floating pot, he was raised by a merchant whose unsellable goods he sold in a single day. Upon marrying, an 80-cubit golden hill appeared behind his house. After verifying his youngest son shared his merit to inherit it, Jaṭila ordained and achieved Arahatship within days.
