Golden King Swan granted his daughter her choice of a husband from among all the birds. She chose the Peacock for his exquisite plumage. Overjoyed, the Peacock proudly began to dance, unabashedly exposing himself. Disgusted by his utter lack of modesty and self-restraint, King Swan withdrew the offer and gave his daughter to a refined courtier instead, leaving the shameless Peacock empty-handed.
