During their final year of exile in disguise at the court of King Virata, the Pandavas defend the kingdom from a Kaurava invasion. The Kauravas attempt to steal Virata’s cattle to force the Pandavas out of hiding. Arjuna, disguised as the eunuch Brihannala, single-handedly defeats the Kuru army. The victory reveals the Pandavas’ identity just as the exile period ends, setting the stage for their demand for restoration.
