3. The Two Travelers

high-definition creative commons posters depicting The Two Travelers from the Pañcatantra together with further information.

Two men, one optimistic and one cynical, travel together. The cynic constantly predicts disaster, while the optimist trusts in providence. Through various trials involving a lost purse and a forest fire, the optimist’s faith is rewarded with fortune and safety, while the cynic’s greed and negativity lead to his downfall, illustrating that one’s outlook often shapes their ultimate destiny.
