high-definition creative commons posters depicting The Merchant Siridhara from Fifty Lannā Jātaka Stories together with further information.

While staying at Jetavana, the Buddha recounts the past life of the great merchant Siridhara. Siridhara offered his sumptuous meal to a paccekabuddha and made an aspiration to attain future Buddhahood. Consequently, his house miraculously turned to gold and he received divine wealth, which he shared generously with the public. After teaching King Brahmadatta and his citizens about the supreme benefits of giving, everyone was reborn in the heavenly realms.
