high-definition creative commons posters depicting Suvaṇṇakumāra from Fifty Lannā Jātaka Stories together with further information.

King Brahmadatta orders his pregnant concubine executed, but the executioner secretly spares her. She gives birth to Suvaṇṇakumāra, who is the Bodhisatta. Years later, a deity threatens the king’s life with ten complex questions. The wise young prince answers them all perfectly, saving his father. The deity then reveals the prince’s true royal identity. The king happily crowns Suvaṇṇakumāra, who rules righteously and is later reborn as Siddhattha, who would become the Buddha.
