Reigning in Mithilā, King Sādhita, who was the Bodhisatta, realized his prosperity came from past generosity. He built six alms halls, distributing immense wealth daily. Moved by his boundless giving, Sakka, king of devas, descended to praise him, predicting Sādhita’s future Buddhahood. Sakka then showered the entire city with miraculous rains of wealth, which Sādhita gladly distributed. Sādhita ruled righteously and, upon passing, was reborn in the Tusita deva world.
