In Sudhammavatī, the righteous King Vipula established six charity halls to fulfill the Perfection of Charity. Aspiring for Buddhahood, he vowed to grant any request. Testing his virtue, Sakka, king of gods, disguised as a Brāhmaṇa and requested Queen Candā, Prince Vijala, and the entire kingdom. King Vipula joyfully surrendered each. Astonished by this supreme selflessness, Sakka revealed his divine identity, praised the Bodhisatta, and restored his family and realm.
