Tissa Metteyya asks who is satisfied, free from turmoil, wise, undefiled in the middle, a Great Man, and has gone beyond the seamstress (craving). The Buddha answers: the monk who is chaste, free from craving, always mindful, and discerning is emancipated and free from turmoil. He is the wise one, knowing both ends and undefiled in the middle; he is a Great Man who has gone beyond craving.
